If you went along to SummerFest in Weymouth last weekend, you have helped raise an amazing £23,000 pounds.
Weymouth and Portland Round Table will be donating money to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
They'll also use the funds to by two defibrillators for the harbour.
Weymouth and Portland Round Table Chairman Adam Luckhurst said: “SummerFest is shaping up to be not only one of the largest and most popular events in Weymouth this summer, but also the biggest fundraiser in Weymouth and Portland Round Table’s calendar."
SummerFest featured activities and attractions, including live bands and the opportunity to watch the FA Cup Final all topped off by a grand fireworks display.
A spokesperson from the Round Table said:
"We’re pleased to say that we raised an incredible £23,000!! We couldn’t be happier.
"This means we’ll be presenting a cheque of £13,000 to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, purchasing the two defibrillators we promised for the harbour and ensuring we have some funds in reserve for supporting other causes locally throughout the rest of this year, into next.
"In other news SummerFest will be returning bigger and better in 2024. We’ll be back. All thanks to you. From your Round Table."
