New sports pavilion planned for Portesham
It would the existing building which is in 'disrepair'
A new sports pavilion could be on its way for Portesham recreation ground.
Chesil Bank Parish Council's put in a planning application to Dorset Council.
They want to replace the existing building at Elworth, with a new, and relocated, facility, including a kitchen and changing rooms.
If it's approved, if would be moved closer to the road, with some tennis courts also being refurbished to become a multi-use games area.
The design of the new pavilion is based on a facility at Little Bredy, which serves the same purpose.
