Man makes 'violent threats' towards woman in Weymouth supermarket

Police are investigating an incident at Aldi in Chickerell

A man's alleged to have made verbal threats of violence towards a woman in a Weymouth supermarket.

Police are investigating what happened at Aldi in Link Park, Chickerell, just before 9.30am yesterday morning (Thursday 13th June).

A man involved is described as:

  • Five feet eight inches tall
  • Stocky build
  • Wearing a grey tracksuit
  • White baseball cap

PC Sam Welch, of Weymouth and Portland police, said:

“We know that the supermarket was busy at the time of the incident, so we are appealing to witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist us with our enquiries.”
