A man has tried to get into a woman's car in Weymouth.

At around 4.50pm on Friday 26 April a woman was sitting in the passenger seat of a parked vehicle in Lower St Edmund Street when an unknown man approached.

It is reported that the man attempted to open the driver’s side door, before walking round to the passenger door and trying to open it.

The woman managed to hold the door shut and the man did not enter the vehicle.
