Man threatened with by group armed with knife and bottle in Wareham

CCTV images have been released of two men officers want to trace

A man's been threatened by two men armed with a knife and a bottle in Wareham.

The incident happened after a fight involving two groups of young men outside a pizza and kebab shop in South Street.

The victim - a man in his 40's - was threatened while picking up two people in his car.

The details have just been released by officers, after the incident happened just after midnight on Sunday 1st September.

Police have now issued CCTV images of two men they want to speak to.

PC Mark Mills, of Purbeck police, said:

“I have been continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident and am now in a position to issue CCTV images of two men I would like to speak to.

“While I appreciate the images are not the best quality, I am hoping someone may still be able to recognise the men from their clothing.”
