Man arrested and items seized by police in Bridport
Officers carried out a warrant yesterday morning (Tuesday 24th January)
A man's been arrested, with drugs, cash, a watch and a Land Rover Defender seized, during a warrant in Bridport.
Officers conducted searches at an address in the Bradpole area at around 7.45am yesterday (Tuesday 24th January).
Suspected class A and B drugs were located and seized, along with what's described as a 'large quantity of cash', a 'high-value watch' and a car.
A 45 year old man from Bridport has been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and B drugs, with intent to supply; and possession of criminal property.
Neighbourhood Inspector Ged Want, of West Dorset, said:
“This warrant involved joint efforts from a number of teams across the Force and an investigation will now be carried out.
“We are committed to relentlessly pursuing anyone who is suspected of being involved in criminality to ensure Dorset is a safe county for everyone.”
