A huge tallship, that's also a floating museum, is coming to Weymouth next week.

The Galeon Andalucia is a replica of a vessel used by Spanish sailors in the 16th to 18th centuries, for expeditions and trade.

Similar ships would have gone between Spain and the Americas, Phillippines and north and west Africa, to export fruit, salt and general cargo.

The Galeon will dock at Weymouth Harbour next Thursday (18th May), and then be open to visitors from 19th to 22nd May.

We'll be able to go on board for a self-guided tour on the decks.

There's a chance to talk to the crew members who live on the ship, and see interactive exhibits, videos, projections and historic documents.

Tickets are £10 for adults (over 10 years old); £5 for 5 to 10 year olds; free for under 5s; with family tickets (2 adults and up to 3 children aged 5-10) for £25.

They're available from the Galeon's website.
