A bag of Class A drugs has been recovered from a car, at the scene of a crash near Dorchester.

Dorset Police were called to the Stinsford roundabout on the A35 at around 1.20pm last Wednesday (15th February).

A green Ford Fiesta had been involved in a single vehicle collision, and was blocking a lane of traffic.

Officers found the occupants of the car had left the scene, but a bag of cocaine was found nearby.

PC Richard Symonds, of Dorset Police, said:

“Enquiries to identify the occupants of the vehicle remain ongoing and I am keen to hear from members of the public who might be able to assist our enquiries.

“In particular, I would urge any motorists who were travelling in the area around the time of the incident who have dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please review their footage for anything of relevance.”
