A Dorset MP has appealed for help to find his family's missing dog.
North Dorset MP Simon Hoare posted appeals on social media to find terrier Jerry after he disappeared between Lydlinch and Stourton Caundle near Sturminster Newton.
He wrote: "Jerry our terrier has gone awol.
"He’s chipped so please take to a vet (all local ones have been notified).
"I’ve three very distraught daughters (and Mrs H and I aren’t feeling particularly grand either).
"A very anxious family awaits his safe return. Many many thanks"
Mr Hoare posted the appeal on Friday and on Sunday evening said his family had been out looking for Jerry over the weekend.
