A Dorset family say their New Year's wish is to find their much loved missing dog.

The Mannings have spent their entire Christmas searching for 18 month old Willow.

The English Pointer went missing on the 21st of December, in the Black Hill area of Bere Regis.

Since then she has been spotted in several locations, miles apart, including Bockhampton, Wareham Forest and Crossways.

Fran Burgess, a friend of the family said:

"Willow has braved cold temperatures and torrential rain over a considerable period of time and will be cold, wet and scared.

"People are advised not to approach her and not to call her name or whistle, but to immediately call Lindy 07971024154 or Simon 07808770692 with any sightings and to report any signs of Willow having stayed in barns, sheds or outhouses.

"If anyone can help with imaging equipment, spreading the word or by taking binoculars out when running, warming or cycling, the family would be eternally grateful."
