Community book drive launched in Bridport
It's hoped the scheme will encourage more local people into reading
A community book drive's been set up in Bridport, to continue the legacy of the town's successful Literary Festival.
West Dorset law firm, Kitson & Trotman, who are long-standing sponsors of the Festival, are behind the scheme.
It's aimed at giving more local people a chance to get into reading for pleasure, even if they might not have access to literary resources.
We can donate new, or good quality second hand books to be distributed out to local schools and organisations, working with disadvantaged children and young adults.
Collection points have been set up at the company's offices in Bridport's Chancery Lane; and off Hogshill Street in Beaminster.
They'll be open until 9th December.
