Foley's in Harmans Cross has been targeted in a burglary

A large quantity of cigarettes have been stolen from a garage near Swanage.

Police are investigating the break-in at Foley's on Valley Road at Harmans Cross at around 4.30am on Monday (18th December).

The tobacco products were all taken from behind the shop's counter.

There's now an appeal for information that could help with enquiries.

PC Katy Ross, of Purbeck police, said:

“I am continuing to investigate this incident and as part of my enquiries an examination of the scene was carried out.

“I am now appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the village around the relevant time to please come forward.

“Also, if you have captured anything of relevance on either dashcam or home CCTV footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
