CCTV images have been released by Bournemouth police, as they continue to investigate an assault and sexual assault.

A man and woman were walking along St Peter's Road at around 11.45pm on Sunday 18th September when they were approached by a group of men.

One of them is alleged to have inappropriately touched the female over her clothing, and kicked the male in the leg, causing him to fall over.

The victims challenged the group, who ran away.

PC Eszter Sabik, of Bournemouth police, said:

“I am continuing to investigate this incident and have now obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him, or may have information about his identity, to please get in touch.

“I fully appreciate the images are not of the best quality, but I am hoping they may jog someone’s memory and provide information to help the investigation.”
