Police release CCTV image after teenage girl assaulted on bus in Weymouth

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify after a teenage girl was assaulted on a bus in Weymouth.

Details have just been released about the incident that happened at around 8pm on Friday 12 August 2022.

Two teenage girls got on a bus at the Kings Statue. It is reported that after they sat down, one of the girls was assaulted. She did not sustain any injuries.

Police Constable Jody Durkin-Jones, of Weymouth police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident so far to try and identify the person responsible.

“We have obtained an image of a man we would like to speak to following the assault as they may have important information to help our investigation.”
