CCTV released after four people assaulted outside Bournemouth club

Police in Bournemouth have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace, after four people were assaulted outside a Bournemouth nightclub.

Two men are alleged to have attacked two men and two women at Popworld in Old Christchurch Road at around 4.00am on Wednesday 29th May.

Two of the victims - both men in their 20s - suffered fractured jaws and facial injuries in the incident.

A 22-year-old Poole man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He's since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

PC Amelia Wolstenhulme, of Dorset Police, said:

“Our investigation into this matter is ongoing and I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of a man we are still looking to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
