Cash stolen in burglary at Bournemouth store

The break-in happened at the Co-Op in Boscombe

Cash has been stolen, and damage caused, to a convenience store in Bournemouth.

It's believed two men broke into the Co-Op on Christchurch Road in Boscombe at around 11.10pm on Tuesday night (31st January).

CCTV images have been released from the scene, with police asking for our help to identify them.

PC Flora Foster, of Bournemouth police, said:

“We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information that might assist our investigation, to please get in touch.

“I am also releasing CCTV images of the two suspects. I appreciate their faces cannot be clearly seen but someone may recognise them from their clothing and the images may help jog the memory of any witnesses.

“Our enquiries indicate the offender may have been in the area of Annerley Road from around 10.50pm prior to committing the burglary at around 11.10pm and I would urge any motorists who were in this vicinity during this time period to please check any dashcam footage for anything of relevance.”
