Bournemouth man wanted after being convicted of domestic abuse
Nicholas Cash, aged 23, failed to turn up at court
Dorset Police have issued an appeal to locate a wanted man from Bournemouth who's been found guilty of domestic abuse offences.
Nicholas Cash didn't turn up to his trial and was convicted on Friday (24th February) in his absence.
He was found guilty of controlling or coercive behaviour, assault occasioning ABH, criminal damage and administering a poisonous or noxious substance with intent.
The jury heard he subjected his former partner to a number of threats and attacks - including shooting her with a BB gun.
He also left her locked in a flat all day, and confiscated her mobile phone.
His former partner reported being strangled on a number of occasion, with a piece of glass from a broken picture frame used to cut her right cheek.
Officers believe the 23-year-old - formerly of Bournemouth - could be in Thailand.
Cash is due to be sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Tuesday 14th March.

“Nicholas Cash subjected his victim to the most despicable psychological, emotional and physical abuse.
“We take all reports of domestic abuse extremely seriously and are committed to supporting victims as well as ensuring offenders are held to account.
“We have worked hard to compile evidence and secure a conviction against Cash. Now we are determined to locate him to ensure he faces the consequences of his abhorrent offending.
