Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries after crash with a car near Sturminster Marshall

Police are urging any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward

Officers investigating a serious crash near Sturminster Marshall are renewing their appeal for witnesses or dashcam footage.

Dorset Police received a report at 7.12am on Tuesday (18 October) of a collision on the A350 north of the Roundhouse Roundabout involving a silver Mitsubishi Space Star and a Suzuki motorcycle.

Officers attended the scene, along with the ambulance service, and the motorcyclist – a Poole man aged in his 30s – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries to his leg.

Police Constable Dan Yates, of the traffic unit, said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.

“I would also urge anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and has dashcam fitted to please check their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
