Man, 20's, left with suspected broken nose after assault in Bournemouth

He was grabbed by the hair and punched in the face

A man has been left with a possible broken nose after being assaulted in Bournemouth.

At around 6.30pm on Monday (10 October) a local man in his 20s was walking along Wimborne Road between the junctions of Tong Road and Summers Avenue in the Kinson area of the town.

He saw three men outside of one of the houses and when he was near them, one of them called him an offensive name and, following a verbal altercation, grabbed him by the hair and punched him to the face.

Descriptions

The offender is described as a white, 20 to 30 years old, about five feet 10 inches tall and of medium build. He had short blond hair and wore a black Puffa-style jacket.

Police Constable Kristy Heron, of Dorset Police, said: “This incident has left the victim with a possible broken nose.

“As part of my investigation I am conducting a number of enquiries and am appealing for any witnesses to the incident to please come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has relevant dashcam or home CCTV footage.”
