Woman dies in Hornsea caravan fire

A woman has died after been found unconscious in a caravan fire at a park in Hornsea.

Humberside Fire and Rescue were called on Monday 30th December at 1:52pm to a single caravan fire . Three fire engines turned up to the scene.

A female was found unconscious, and was later confirmed as a fatality by ambulance.

A spokesperson from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, said:

"We received a call on Monday 30 December at 1.52pm to a single caravan fire at a commercial site in Hornsea.

"Crews arrived swiftly on scene, and we sent a total of three fire engines.

"Sadly, one adult female was found unconscious, and was later confirmed as a fatality by ambulance.

"The incident has been marked as accidental ignition."
