Two Dorset houses badly damaged after they were struck by lightning
No one was injured and everyone was out safely before fire crews arrived

Two houses in Dorset have been badly damaged after it was struck by lightning overnight (Monday 18th September.)
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service were called to Coronation Way, Corfe Mullen at 12.19am this morning after a lightning strike caused a significant fire in the roof space of two attached properties.
Six fire crews attended, and 12 breathing apparatus wearers used three hose reel jets and two main jets to bring the fire under control.
Crews left the scene at 5.30am although crews are said to have gone back this morning for a reinspection in daylight.
No one was injured and everyone was out safely when fire crews arrived.
Two neighbouring houses also suffered fire damage in their loft. Saffren Griffin lives in one of the houses and has told us she has had to move out of her property for the time being.
"The lightning bolt hit and within about 10-15 minutes the houses were on fire. We ran downstairs because you could smell the smoke and the neighbours were all running outside screaming 'Fire! Get out the house!' Within seconds the whole thing had gone up in flames.
"It was terrifying; just smelling the smoke knowing something was wrong. It was very obvious something had gone wrong and as soon as we stepped outside I saw the flames."
