England football manager Gareth Southgate has announced a provisional squad for this summer's delayed Euro 2020 which is due to kick off on 11th June.

With England the joint favourites to win their first major tournament in 55 years, Southgate has had a difficult decision in naming the talented team.

Naming 33 players in the provisional squad, he will look to cut this number down to 26 on 1st June after assessing players returning from injury.

Who has made the provisional squad?

Ben White, Ben Godfrey and Aaron Ramsdale received their first England call-ups as Gareth Southgate selected Trent Alexander-Arnold among four right-backs in his provisional European Championship squad.

With the Three Lions dealing with issues such as injuries and European final absentees, the Football Association confirmed a larger provisional squad would be announced on Tuesday rather than the definitive squad.

Southgate has named a 33-man group that will be trimmed down to 26 players on June 1, allowing him to include injury doubts such as Harry Maguire, Jordan Henderson and Kalvin Phillips.
