Police are continuing with their investigation this weekend into the deaths of three people in Middlesbrough.

Two women were found dead in the South Bank area earlier this week.

They've been named as 35-year-old Stephanie Alderson, who was found on Monday 18th September, and 38-year-old Kathleen Broomfield, who was found on Tuesday 19th.

These have followed the death of 41-year-old Kevin Conway, whose body was found at an address on Ajax Way on the 15th July this year.

Officers are now investigating whether the deaths are linked.

Four arrests have been made in connection with the enquiry so far.

One woman aged 43 was previously arrested in relation to Kevin Conway's death, and has now been re-arrested in connection to the women's deaths on suspicion of administering a noxious substance.

Two men, both aged 47, and another 39-year-old woman have also been arrested for administering a noxious substance, in relation to the death of Kathleen Broomfield.

All four remain on bail and are pending further enquiries.
