Man from Merseyside charged in connection with River Grove firearms incident

A man has been charged in connection with a firearms incident in Hull last month.

26 year-old James Connor, from Merseyside, was arrested on Thursday (3 August) after police conducted a warrant connected to their investigation.

Mr Connor was later charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

His arrest follows Humberside Police attending an incident in the River Grove area of Hull on 20 July, after they were called to reports of a gun being fired.

Mr Connor appeared in Hull Magistrates Court on Saturday (5 August), where he was remanded into custody.

He'll next appear in Hull Crown Court on Monday 4th September.
