Man and woman killed in crash near Brandon in Suffolk

A man and a woman have died in a car crash near Brandon.

Emergency services were called at around 5.40pm on Saturday 15th April to reports of a collision between a Nissan Note car and a Jeep Cheroke.

A number of crews attended the scene on the B1106.

Suffolk Police have confirmed the the driver and passenger in the Nissan died at the scene.

They said next of kin have been informed and they're being supported by specialist officers.

The female driver of the Jeep was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with a suspected broken wrist.

The B1106 was closed in both directions, between the A11 Elveden Bypass Road and Green Road, but has now reopened.
