A major incident has been declared after a collission early this morning on the A39 Quantock Road
Police say it involved a double decker bus and a motorcyclist.
Closures are in place at the junction of Sandford Hill and Quantock Road.
A spokesperson for Avon & Somerset Police said: "A significant number of police, fire and ambulance units are on the scene and a major incident has been declared."
Overnight more than 100 reports were made to Avon and Somerset police within a five-hour window because of road-related incidents. |newtab)
There's currently a yellow weather warning for ice in effect across the West Country - which is in place through this morning (17/01).
The A39 Quantock Road is currently blocked both ways from B3339 Sandford Hill (Wembdon) to Quantock Meadow (Bridgwater).
