'World's biggest' pride flag to be marched through Falmouth

What's thought to be the world's largest pride flag is to be walked through Falmouth's Town centre during today's (26th April) Falmouth Pride March.

The march is starting at 12 noon from The Prince of Wales Pier and will finish at Event Square.

It's expected to take around 45-60 minutes, with live music and events taking place after until 6pm.

A Cornwall Pride spokesperson says the event is "more than just a parade it’s about support, awareness & celebration".

Volunteer Marshals will be lining the route along Market Street, Church Street and Grove place.
