Welsh rugby legend Alun Wyn Jones has announced his retirement from international rugby at the age of 37.
He played for Wales 158 times, and the British and Irish Lions 12 times, making him the most internationally capped player of all time.
This means he will not be playing for Wales at the Rugby World Cup in France later this year.
Alun Wyn Jones has become an institution within Welsh Rugby, playing 158 times for his country. 12 more caps from the British and Irish Lions helped make him the most capped international player ever.
In his statement, he gave a heart-felt tribute to his family, saying 'Despite all I have achieved, my children will always be my biggest accomplishment'.
Following news of flanker Justin Tipuric's international retirement on the same day, The Prince of Wales, who is Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, tweeted: "Two giants of the game. Rugby won’t be the same without you - not just in Wales, but the world over. Congratulations on your incredible careers! Cymru am byth. W."
In Wales's 142 years of playing international rugby, Alun Wyn Jones played 20% of all of Wales's international tests.
No word has been said about his place at Ospreys as of yet. He is out of contract in September.
