Six men face total of 42 charges in connection with child exploitation in Rochdale

The men are due to appear before magistrates on Thursday

Six men are facing a total of 42 charges in connection with a child exploitation investigation in Rochdale.

The accused have each been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, one count of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs, and four counts of modern slavery offences.

In a statement, the Greater Manchester Police confirmed the names of those charged were as follows:

  • Azaad Ali (17/04/1998) of Falinge Road.
  • Harris Ali (10/01/2005) of Edmund Street.
  • Aadam Ali Sajjad (26/07/2005) of Albert Royds Street.
  • Abdullah Talib (18/01/2005) of Chamber House Drive.
  • Subhan Khan (20/06/2005) of Millfield Grove.
  • Zain Abbas (13/11/2005) of Falinge Road.

All six men have been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Thursday, police said.
