Firefighters have been working throughout the night tackling a blaze at a flat block in south east London.
Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were called to Hatcham Park Mews around 4:30pm yesterday afternoon.
The first, second and third floors of the residential block were reported alight, as well as the roof.
Crews also called for two of London Fire Brigade's 32-metre turntable ladders to enable flames to be tackled from a height.
No injuries have been reported, with some residents relocated to a nearby rest centre.
LFB say the fire was under control by 6:48 this morning.
Station Commander Patrick Ackroyd, who was at the scene, said:
"The incident is also causing significant traffic disruption, so we’re asking people to avoid the area where possible."
The plume of smoke from the blaze led to warnings of keeping windows and doors closed nearby, including around the junction of New Cross Road and Queens Road.
Progress was being made late into last night with tackling the fire, but the service estimated crews would be on scene overnight.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
