Woman seriously injured in Middlesbrough fire
Police are investigating the cause of the blaze at a house on Costa Street on Friday afternoon
A woman's been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a house fire on Costa Street in Middlesbrough.
The blaze broke out at around 1.30pm on Good Friday afternoon.
Four fire engines went to the scene, firefighers rescued the woman from the house and gave first aid until the ambulance arrived.
Police are now investigating what caused the fire, and say it's currently being treated as 'unexplained'.
