Woman hit by car in Hartlepool

The 24 year old's family are calling for a murder investigation to be launched.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision whereby a pedestrian suffered a broken elbow in Hartlepool.

The collision happened around 5pm on Monday 20th September on Park Road at the junction with Osborne Road, involving a grey Audi A3 and a 19-year-old female pedestrian.

The woman was taken to hospital for treatment for a fractured elbow.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident who has not already spoken with police is asked to contact PC Jayson Morris from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 159706.
