Two teens stabbed in Stockton

Cleveland Police were called to a report of a disturbance on Rothbury Avenue, Stockton, around 10:45pm on Saturday 29th October.

Large groups of people were reported to be fighting in the street with weapons.

A 17-year-old boy suffered a stab wound and was given medical treatment at the scene by police and paramedics, before being taken to James Cook University Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 16-year-old boy who also suffered a stab wound was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees and was later discharged.

Two boys aged 15 and 16 have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remain in police custody at this time.
