Two men arrested in connection with alleged fatal hit and run collision in East Cleveland

Two men have been arrested in West Yorkshire as enquiries continue into an alleged hit and run incident on Sunday night in which 50-year-old Justine Wedgwood from the Boosbeck area sadly died.

Our thoughts remain with her family at this very difficult time.

We know the incident has impacted the local community and we would like to thank residents for their support and assistance.

A 33-year-old man faces questioning on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and a 37-year-old man will be interviewed on suspicion of assisting an offender. Enquiries are on-going.

Police are still appealing for any information concerning the location or sightings of a silver Volvo XC90 Licence plate SV04 TFE.
