Two men arrested as police investigate incidents
The men from Middlesbrough have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, arson and criminal damage.
It comes following a series of incidents at addresses in Grangetown and Eston.
The males aged 19 and 39, have been questioned in custody and then released on conditional bail while enquires are continuing.
Detective Chief Inspector Tom Sewell, from Redcar and Cleveland CID, said: “Since the reports were made, officers have been conducting various enquiries including house-to-house, obtaining and reviewing footage and conducting arrest attempts in a bid to find those believed to be responsible.
“This has led to two men being arrested and subsequently questioned.
“We have also had a visible policing presence with various patrols taking place in the immediate areas of Grangetown and Brambles Farm and this will continue to provide reassurance to those living within the community.
“I would advise anyone who has information that could help the investigation to please get in touch.”
