#SSI – Steeling themselves for Christmas
We've been catching up with people affected by the steelworks' closure to find out what their Christmas will be like.
In October, thousands of people lost their jobs when the SSI plant in Redcar was placed in liquidation and closed.
It left the families of steelworkers and the many affected in the supply chain facing a bleak Christmas.
