Saltburn Food Festival Hits The Streets

Teesside Will Be Paying Tribute To The Street Parties Of The Past This Weekend..

It's all part of Saltburn food festival which includes guest chefs, local produce and live music.

Festival director Lorna Jackson says she took inspiration for the event from her holidays to France....

"Lots of towns do it over there weekly, shut the roads to traffic, its a lovely atmosphere. Theres no reason we cant do it in Saltburn"

Guest chefs, local produce and live music are heading to Teesside for Saltburn food festival.

Lorna Jackson runs a deli in the town and is the event director.

She told TFM the festival aims to recreate street parties of the past.

"Its just a really nice Street.I love seeing all those people mixing and sharing a meal, relaxing and enjoying the street"

The event will be a real treat for foodies across the region.
