Rockliffe Hall Named One Of Top 10 UK Hotels
Rockliffe Hall, near Hurworth in County Durham, has been named as one of the country’s top 10 hotels, based on a survey of some of the world’s most wealthy and seasoned travellers.
The 5 Red Star Resort is the only venue in the North of the UK to feature in the list. The rest are in London and the outskirts of the capital, Bath and Oxfordshire.
The list was drawn up following a survey by wealth intelligence company, New World Wealth, who spoke to ‘wealthy individuals from all over the world’. They drew up an international and UK top ten, putting Rockliffe on a par with some of the world’s most renowned venues including New York’s Plaza Hotel, Bellagio in Las Vegas and the Mandarin Oriental in London.
Many of the hotels featured in the UK top ten are small, with most housing fewer than 100 rooms, proving that discerning guests desire a personal experience, offering a luxurious home from luxurious home.
