A Redcar family, picked in a TFM competition, have turned on the town’s lights.
The Jenkins family went on stage with Brian Moore to officially kick off the festive period.
Dad Paul entered the competition because his wife and mum of their four children was battling cancer, and it would have been her last Christmas.
Sadly, Kerry died last week.
Paul said they still wanted to turn the lights on because Kerry loved Christmas and the kids were so excited.
