A 33-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences
A man's been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences after shots were fired in Stockton.
Officers were called to a house at around 12:45am yesterday morning (Saturday 19th October).
The damage is believed to have been caused by a firearm being discharged.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
A man aged 33 has been arrested on suspicion of firearms related offences. He currently remains in police custody whilst enquiries are continuing.
Officers say they don’t believe there is any threat to the wider public, but there will be extra patrols in the neighbourhood.
Anyone who may have information or anyone who may have witnessed a male on a motorbike in the vicinity of Runswick Avenue around 12:45am is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 200200.
