Police appeal for witnesses and footage after A19 collision

The four-vehicle crash happened by Thornaby yesterday (23 Aug)

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a collision involving four vehicles on the A19 at Thornaby.

The incident happened around 1:20pm on Tuesday 23rd August involving a Ford Ka, Vauxhall Vivaro, Fiat Punto and Vauxhall Astra.

The female driver of the Ford Ka was taken suffered whiplash injuries and the male driver of the Vauxhall Vivaro suffered an injury to his arm. Both were taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.

Any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident or the vehicles prior to the incident, is asked to contact PC Spencer Kindon on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 149742.
