Police Appeal Following Sexual Assault in Stockton

Police are releasing an E-fit of a man that they want to speak to following a sexual assault in Stockton.

Officers would like to trace the man as they believe he could assist with their enquiries.

The incident took place between 11pm on Saturday 2nd July and 2am on Sunday 3rd July near to the road works on Durham Road in Stockton.

Two males approached a 14-year-old girl, one of the men then went on to grope the girl before asking her to go to his house.

The victim managed to make off from the man and made her way home.

The suspect is described as a black male, aged between 30 and 40 years old, around 5ft 7” tall and of stocky build. He was wearing denim jeans.
