Three men charged with attempted murder after Grangetown incident

Three men have been charged with attempted murder after an incident near Middlesbrough.

Police say they were called to Griffiths Road in Grangetown at around 9.50pm on Tuesday (28th May) where a man was found with gunshot wounds.

The 21 year-old remains in hospital with serious injuries.

The men, aged 42, 44 and 52 have now been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life/enable another to do so and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life/enable another to do so.

They are all due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today.
