Man stabbed during Grangetown incident.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance at around 4:35pm this evening on Bolckow Road in Grangetown involving a number of people said to be in an altercation in the street.

Upon arrival, the group had dispersed but officers found a 45-year-old man with injuries to his abdomen consistent with stab wounds. The man was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he remains.

Detectives are investigating the incident and the circumstances, including identifying those responsible for the man’s injuries.

Cordon’s have been put in place to assist in the investigation and there will be a police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
