Man charged after alleged sexual assault in Darlington
It happened in South Park on Saturday evening.
Detectives in Darlington have charged a man with several offences following an incident on Saturday evening (November 2nd).
Police were called to reports of an alleged sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl in South Park at around 4.45pm.
Malcolm Thomas Clixby has subsequently been charged on suspicion of attempted rape, sexual assault and false imprisonment.
The 42-year-old, of Darlington, is expected to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court today (November 4th).
