Man charged after a man is found with stab wounds in Stockton

A man has appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court charged with section 18 wounding in connection with an incident in Stockton on Monday (30th September).

A 35-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his neck and arm on a bench on Stockton High Street, before being transported to the University Hospital of North Tees.

The 30-year-old has been remanded in custody and will appear in court again on Tuesday 29th October.
