A man has been sentenced to six years in prison after a robbery at a hotel in Stockton.

43-year-old Stephen Jude Jackson, from Middlesbrough, was staying at the hotel when he robbed another man who was also staying there.

The 37-year-old victim suffered a cut to his neck after being threatened with a knife by Jackson, who stole a mobile phone, trainers, a bank card and music speakers.
