Tributes are being paid to a Hartlepool man, who died after an incident over the weekend.

Emergency crews were called to Allerton Close just before 11 on Sunday and discovered a 23 year old man had died.

He has been named as Mohammed Shaan Ali Rasul, who was also known as Shaan.

In a statement, his sister said: “Our beloved brother Shaan. We can’t imagine the pain you suffered and can’t believe you are no longer here.

“You had the biggest heart a man could ever have, but our hearts are broken and heavy. We will love you forever, Our brother Shaan.”

A 22-year-old man was charged with murder and was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 25th November).

A 23-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed with conditions while enquires continue.
