Hartlepool mam gets final dream holiday to Disneyland
38-year-old Steffi Timms has been given months to live after her bowel cancer became terminal.
A Hartlepool mam who's been given just months to live says being donated a dream holiday has made her final wish come true.
German-born Steffi Timms has terminal bowel cancer, and said she would like one last family holiday with her two daughters and husband Steve.
Steve set up a fundraising page and has raised over £3000 in a fortnight, smashing their initial target.
The family have now booked to visit Disneyland Paris in April.
Steffi said: "I cry because I'm normally the giver.
"I don't put myself first, I never ever have done and I still don't.
"So all this attention is really weird for me but I'm over the moon.
"It's making me stronger.
"We're going to be a normal family for a change again which is really nice.
"Going on a family holiday to make memories for my daughters is unbelievable, it's amazing."
Her husband Steve said: "I wasn't expecting it.
"In the first 24 hours I raised over £1000.
"It's just amazing to get support from people all over the world, Ireland and America.
"Whoever you are, thank you."

Any extra money raised will be put towards her funeral arrangements.
