13 year old injured in hit-and-run in Grangetown

The 24 year old's family are calling for a murder investigation to be launched.

Police are investigating a collision which happened around 4.10pm on Friday (25th June) at the zebra crossing on Broadway near McColl’s store on Birchington Avenue in Grangetown.

A 13-year-old female pedestrian suffered minor inquires as a result of the collision, but the driver of the vehicle left the scene without checking on her or providing details.

A driver passing in the opposite direction stopped to help the girl, who returned home a short time later.

We would like to hear from any witnesses, drivers with dash cam or owners of private CCTV as they may be able to help us identify the vehicle and driver from the collision.
